MINIMUM DAY SCHEDULE Transitional K / Kindergarten Mon-Fri - 8:25am-12:10am Grades 1-5 Mon-Fri - 8:25am-1:00pm

On Mondays through Thursdays and Minimum Days, students are asked to arrive at school no earlier than 7:50 am to eat breakfast or 8:10 am at which time the playground will open with supervision.  Every Friday is “Late Start”.  Teachers meet and plan curriculum and school does not begin until 9:45 am.  Students are asked to arrive no earlier than 9:30 on “Late Start Fridays” unless they are eating breakfast.

No one is permitted on the playground until there is supervision. If you need to drop your child off at school before 8:10 am (or 9:30 am on Late Start Fridays), you must enroll him/her in the EDC/CREST program, which provides daycare every morning before the start of school.

The school office is open from 8:00 to 4:30 every day. The office staff is bilingual.

8:25 ........................School begins Grades K-5 (9:45 on Friday late starts)

SPECIAL SCHEDULES

Pupil-Free Days mean that the children do not come to school. Minimum Days are school days that end early for the students. One Pupil-Free and five Minimum Days are scheduled for Parent-Teacher Conferences in November. Minimum Days for Back-to-School Nights, Open House and the last two days of school are also scheduled.
