After School Programs
CREST (Child Care, Recreation, Enrichment, Sports Together)
The City of Santa Monica and the Santa Monica School District sponsor this program, which combines existing on-site after-school child care with a recreation and sports program. C.R.E.S.T features such activities as flag football, volleyball, homework club, dance and other enrichment classes as well as supervised free play.

Playground Access
C.R.E.S.T. also offers an after-school Playground Access Option. Children in grades 1 and 2 may have 30 minutes of playground access for supervised, unstructured play after school and can remain on the playground after the 30 minutes if they are playing with an older sibling or are accompanied by a caregiver. Children in grades 3-5 may have up to two hours of playground access for supervised, unstructured play after school.
Sports
Sponsored by CREST, the varied sports include: volleyball, flag football, basketball, soccer and track & field.
Summer Enrichment Program
Santa Monica-Malibu PTA Council and the Education Foundation offer an enrichment program in July for students entering Kindergarten through the 6th grade. Held at one of the local elementary schools, classes include Kindergarten readiness, art, dance, music, languages, cooking, science, math, and many others.
